Over the past eight months, I have been training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy with the University of Toronto, OISE. I plan to have my certification complete by December, 2021. My goal is to start an on-line practice for Canadian residents. I am excited to introduce to you Solution Talk Counselling practice!

Clients who come for this specific type of counselling leave with next steps, even after one visit. A tri-phase model of counselling, clients are able to articulate their best hopes and dreams for their lives and leave with concrete next steps to reach those goals.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy moves away from problem-talk, toward solution building. Instead of focusing our time and energy on analyzing what is wrong or problematic, this specific type of therapy helps clients see what is needed and wanted, building on client successes, strengths, resources, and goals. SF focuses on activating possibility and hope.
